Koda was a very large German Shepard that arrived in Scott’s arms almost 10 years ago. He started his life as an only dog to a bachelor man and had the lay of the house. But after some time Koda became the protector of a whole family. He was the loving best friend to his dad, and new mommy. And later became the bestest big brother to two boys. Koda would later find out what it was like to not be the only dog in the house; when he became the proud big bro of an husky puppy. Karma would keep Koda young and active for the next few years as the family settled into the new chaos of life with two adults, two kids, and two dogs in a home. Koda loved running in his large yard annd of course barking ant anyone who thought to walk the sidewalk along his yard. But after almost 10 years Koda’s family was told he only had a month or so to live. After a bad episode Koda got to sleep under the stars in his huge backyard that he protected at all cost. Then in the am he stood up for each of his family members as they were headed out for the day. He got pets and snuggles from his dad and mom and his two baby brothers before cuddling up in his spot in the yard and crossing the rainbow bridge to doggy heaven! Koda was the biggest puppy, the most annoying food stealer, the greatest guardian of our home, and the bestest big brother! Mom and dad, brothers, and karma will miss your bumps, your barks, your hugs, and most of all just your presence! In loving memory.
